On February 1, 2022, Merel Overdevest (38) took over the position of CEO from her father, Gard Overdevest.
Founded in 1992, Gard has been at the helm and led and developed the company into the successful business it is today. “For a software company, the high-tech manufacturing industry is a difficult but very interesting industry!”, says Gard.
Merel has been working at Macroscoop for the past 14 years. In recent years she has concentrated on commercial tasks and project management. With her view on the future, Merel has designed the Epicor Experience Center on Brainport Industries Campus in Eindhoven.
Merel explains: “For me, the goal is to make the implementation and use of our end-to-end ERP solution from Epicor as easy as making a cup of coffee. Our Experience Center is central to this to show this to all companies in the manufacturing industry. The many years of collaboration with my father, the Macroscoop team, the good Epicor software and the appreciation of our customers ensure that I can achieve our ambition. I am proud to follow in his footsteps!”.
Merel takes over the management with a skilled and motivated team, which has been extensively trained and certified. As an Epicor Partner for decades, we are independent and we can determine our own direction, where the customer always comes first.
