Our approach to an Odoo implementation

We believe that an ERP implementation is not just about software, but primarily about people, processes, and collaboration. Our years of experience with ERP implementations have taught us that success begins with a clear structure, open communication, and engaged teams. That is why we work with a proven project approach that ensures control, transparency, and results — from the first meeting to the go-live.

Prepare/Plan phase:

First, we create a draft project plan with a general scope and timeline. Based on the available information, we lay the foundation for the further process. Together, we map out the current and desired processes through Business Process Reviews, after which we further refine the project plan.

The project teams are assembled, and we officially kick off the project with the project Kick-Off.

Design phase:

We configure Odoo based on the initial business model and conduct a Proof of Concept to verify whether the setup meets expectations. The project team undergoes the necessary training and education.

Validate phase:

During this phase, we thoroughly test the solution.
The User Acceptance Test (UAT) is completed, training for end users is prepared, and work instructions are drafted.

In addition, we start the Go-Live preparations so that everything is ready for the transition to the new environment.

Deploy phase:

The end users have been trained, the data migration is fully completed, and the moment has arrived: the Go-Live with Odoo.

After the go-live, we jointly evaluate the project and ensure a careful project closure.

Clear project organization

A clear organization is essential for a successful implementation.

At the start of each project, we collaboratively establish the project organization: who does what, and who is responsible for what?

All actions, progress, and documents are recorded in our implementation tool MakeIT. This way, everyone has real-time insight into the status of the project and all parties involved work transparently together towards one goal: a successful implementation of your Epicor application.
